Before I design a garden, I have to get to know the site. Finding the right harmony between a house, its garden, and the natural landscape is crucial for creating a space that honors its surroundings and reflects the owner’s spirit. 

I have been a landscape designer for 15 years, working on a range of projects: from designing a garden of poisonous plants to developing a mid-century urban courtyard. Typically, I consult with the client and then draw up masterplans and designs for borders, patios, and foundation plantings.

I have had a passion for gardening since I was a child growing up in the English countryside. I have had several different careers but returned to my love for gardens. I enrolled in The Landscape Institute of Harvard University and the Arnold Arboretum, and graduated in 2008 with a post graduate Certificate in Landscape Design.
